In short

Not Every Dispute Belongs in Court. Some Can Be Resolved Faster, Cheaper, and Privately.

Litigation in Pakistan can take years and drain resources on both sides. For many commercial, property, and family disputes, there is a better route: arbitration, mediation, or a well-structured negotiated settlement. Done properly, ADR can resolve a dispute in weeks rather than years, with less cost and complete privacy. LawBridge LLP advises on whether ADR is right for your dispute, drafts strong arbitration clauses for contracts, and represents you through the process, from the first session to a binding award. We also enforce arbitral awards through the courts where needed. Led by Barrister Bilal Ashraf, Barrister-at-Law (Lincoln’s Inn) and Advocate of the High Court, we are equally comfortable in the arbitration room and the courtroom. If the other side will not cooperate, we litigate. Tell us the dispute on WhatsApp and we will advise on the fastest, most effective route to resolution.

ADR Questions We Hear Most

Is ADR really faster than court?
Often, yes. Arbitration and mediation can avoid the longest delays of litigation and are more private. We advise honestly on whether it suits your dispute.
Is an arbitration award binding?
Yes. A valid award is binding and can be enforced through the court. A flawed award can, in limited cases, be challenged.
What if the other side will not cooperate?
If negotiation or mediation fails, or there is no agreement to arbitrate, we are ready to litigate. ADR and court are not mutually exclusive.
Do we need an arbitration clause to arbitrate?
Generally there must be an agreement to arbitrate, in the contract or made later. We can also help draft strong clauses for future contracts.
Can you handle international arbitration?
Yes. We act in domestic and international arbitration and on the enforcement of awards in Pakistan.
